Upper Iowa University - Fort Leavenworth, KS

The Upper Iowa Center at Fort Leavenworth, KS, offers classes on post to both military personnel and civilians in the area. It was opened in 1997 and offers bachelor's of science degree in eight majors. Courses can also be blended with UIU distance learning programs (online and independent study) to complete 12 other majors. Certificate programs are also available. UIU offers evening courses on post for eight-week terms during the academic year. Upper Iowa has been recognized by Military Advanced Education and by GI Jobs as one of the nation's top military-friendly universities.
