Description
The McLouth school district is located Jefferson County, in Northeast Kansas. USD 342 services the McLouth community and the rural surrounding area. It includes a private lake community of Lake Dabinawa.
The district has a student population of 529 in grades Pre-K through 12. The district is a part of the Keystone Learning Center, the John Dewey Learning Academy, and the Washburn Technical School.
Elementary School
McLouth Elementary has an enrollment of 265 students and has a staff of 114 regular classroom teachers, plus support staff.
High School
McLouth Secondary Schools consist of 6-8 Middle School and 9-12 High School. There are 260 students with two administrators and 26 certified staff members. The High School provides over 100 course offerings through classroom and online environments operating on a modified block schedule. The Middle School courses are offered on a seven period schedule with over 50 course offerings.
