Benedictine College Music Department

Whether you are planning a career in music or simply enjoy performing we have many activities in which you can participate. We engage over 10% of the Benedictine College student body in our ensembles, some of which have received international attention.

Students in all disciplines appreciate the opportunities in ensemble and solo performance. Our music majors have the benefit of participating in an accredited program through the National Association of Schools of Music that meets the standards required for the best education possible in music.

Students have the opportunity to seek personal musical creativity by composing original art music and performing their works at the annual Discovery Day New Music Concert.

Our music faculty represents a professionally active team that sets an example for our students by maintaining high musical performance and academic standards.
